Allied Universal in Westerville, OH is seeking a Part Time Security Officer (Lobby Concierge) to greet visitors, manage access, and maintain a secure front desk at a financial institution. The role offers flexible day and weekend shifts with a pay rate of $19.10 per hour.

Responsibilities include verifying IDs, issuing temporary credentials, monitoring security systems, and responding calmly to incidents. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and background check; CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and contractors at the front desk of a financial institution location and supporting site-specific access procedures.
• Verify visitor identification, manage visitor registration, issue temporary credentials, and direct guests in accordance with established policies.
• Monitor access points, reception-area activity, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner and follow applicable emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, and incident records while communicating professionally with client representatives, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.
