Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part-Time Security Officer in Spring Lake, NC. You will greet visitors, manage access, and monitor security systems while delivering professional customer service at an aerospace/defense site.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 1+ year of security experience (including armed security), and the ability to work a part-time schedule with occasional shifts. Training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At least 1 year of armed security–related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Background check will be conducted.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and front-desk policies.
• Monitor access to the facility, verify visitor and contractor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals.
• Receive and route phone calls, deliveries, and inquiries while maintaining a professional front-desk presence.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following emergency protocols.
• Communicate observations and security concerns to site contacts and supervision.
