Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at our Andover, MA location. You will serve as a welcoming front desk presence, manage access, monitor activity, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering excellent customer service.

Role emphasizes flexibility and shift options, with pay rate of $21.06 per hour. The position is part-time with day and overnight blocks as listed in the schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted as per laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Staff the front desk at a technology-focused location, greet and direct visitors, maintain a professional presence.
• Verify visitor credentials, manage sign-in, issue visitor badges, and communicate access requirements to guests.
• Monitor access activity, receive and route calls or deliveries, report unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel as needed.
