Connecticut Children's is seeking a Patient Access Associate I to support Front Office operations in Danbury and Westport. This 20-hour-per-week role handles registration, scheduling, insurance verification and patient financial counseling in a fast-paced environment.

You will greet patients, collect and enter demographic data, verify insurance, process payments and coordinate with care teams while upholding HIPAA and customer-service standards.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of direct customer service experience.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Excel; EPIC or ADT systems experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in patients and visitors.
• Verify demographic and insurance information at arrival.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed.
• Collect payments and process patient liability.
• Respond to calls and triage inquiries.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance.
