The Hampton Inn & Suites Albany Airport is seeking a courteous Front Desk Associate to join our hospitality team. This role greets guests, registers arrivals, handles reservations, and provides accurate information about rooms, rates, amenities, and local attractions.

Qualifications

• Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Associate or similar role preferred.
• Experience with hotel reservations software preferred.
• Customer service attitude.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent verbal, written and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
• Post guest charges and compute guest bill, collect payment and make change.
• Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
• Be knowledgeable of Rewards program and promotions.
• Answer switchboard and take reservation requests.
• Block rooms and handle special requests.
• Inform management of any guest or systems related complaints or problems.
