Job summary

The City of Billings is seeking energetic ARC Front Desk Staff for our community recreation facility. You will be the first point of contact for guests, members, and visitors, greeting them, processing admissions, registrations, and retail purchases at the front desk.

Flexible part-time hours with shifts M-F 8am-10pm and weekends. This role offers opportunities to gain experience in administrative systems, professional communication, and POS software while enjoying employee discounts and ARC

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age requirements.
• Strong verbal communication to interact with guests and team members.
• Basic computer literacy to navigate check-in software and POS.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during peak times.
• Retail or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, answer inquiries about hours, schedules, fees, and programs.
• Check in facility members, verify passes, and manage visitor usage.
• Process admissions, registrations, and retail purchases using the front desk POS.
• Answer phone, take messages, and route inquiries to the manager.
• Maintain clean, welcoming lobby and monitor lobby safety.
• Assist with clerical tasks like filing and printing schedules.
