Job summary

Applitrack in Orono is seeking a Part-time Activities Center Monitor to greet visitors and provide outstanding front desk service. You will assist with memberships, help set up sports courts, and promote the Activities Center while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

The role emphasizes customer relations, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. It offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities for training and involvement in center activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent customer relations skills and knowledge of the Activities Center.
• Able to work in a fun, fast-paced environment and to self-manage time and workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and customers.
• Evidence of the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups, including customer relations and problem-solving skills.
• Evidence of ethical behavior and ability to advance the District's mission and goals.
• Ability to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers and encourage safety-mindedness.
• Knowledge of data privacy and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Activities Center front desk.
• Provide excellent customer service to all visitors.
• Set up courts for sports activities.
• Assist with memberships.
• Assist with promoting the Activities Center.
• Maintain a clean and inviting environment.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Attend meetings, workshops and training sessions as directed by the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
