ProCFO Partners is seeking experienced fractional CFOs to join as embedded leaders for a portfolio of SMB clients in New York City, NY. This independent contractor role offers a part-time engagement with the support of our proven framework and peer network.

You bring senior financial leadership, strong client relationships, and a track record of delivering strategic cash flow improvements and growth. You will partner closely with owners to implement our methodologies and report outcomes monthly.

Qualifications

• Senior financial leadership experience, including CFO or equivalent roles.
• Proven ability to work with business owners and leadership teams.
• Strong communication and ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the embedded CFO for a portfolio of SMB clients ($10M–$100M revenue).
• Execute service delivery standards and engagement frameworks.
• Collaborate with business owners to improve cash flow and growth strategy.
• Report monthly on client outcomes and value delivered.
• Engage with a peer network of CFOs for continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and ProCFO team.
