Job summary

Wellspring Lutheran Services in Lansing, MI is seeking a part-time Foster Care Case Aide to support children, parents, foster families, and caregivers throughout the foster care journey.

You'll help coordinate parenting time visits, transport to appointments, and assist with family support services while documenting progress to inform the foster care team. A high school diploma or GED is required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children and families is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support parenting time visits and other family interactions.
• Transport children and families to appointments, visits, and activities.
• Observe, document, and communicate important information to the foster care team.
• Support case managers and assist with family services to help plan goals.
• Work with diverse families to create positive, safe experiences.
• Assist with community activities and ensure services are accessible.
