Job summary

Mt. Hood Community College is seeking a part-time Food Service Attendant to support the operation of the center by performing food service and janitorial duties.

The role involves preparing and serving meals following USDA regulations, keeping the kitchen clean, washing dishes, and ordering supplies as needed. A minimum of one year in food preparation is required, with a 25‑pound lifting capability; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak at a level sufficient to perform duties.
• At least 1 year of experience in food preparation.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, prepares, and serves food for meal service following USDA regulations and safe sanitation practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen.
• Washes dishes.
• Orders condiments and other foods as needed from central kitchen.
• Maintains accurate documentation.
