Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is hiring a Part Time Food Runner (Finance) in Chicago. The role supports staff by handling basic tasks such as taking and delivering orders, preparing beverages, setting tables, serving food orders, and removing used dishes and utensils.

The position requires prior customer service and some food & beverage experience, standing for long periods, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The pay range is $14.75–$15.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and some food & beverage experience required
• Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for the entire shift
• Must have a good sense of balance, be able to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, push, pull and wipe
• Must be able to frequently lift and carry food, beverage, and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages orders, with appropriate garnishments and condiments to guests
• Responsible for making sure all food items are served as soon as they are ready
• Each guest seated at a table should be served together - Timing is important
• Respond to questions with informed answers
