Job summary

The La Crosse Area Family YMCA is seeking a part-time team member to support the Food Access Program. The role will primarily operate at the Chippewa Falls YMCA and Eau Claire YMCA, coordinating sponsorship-site monitoring and DP I training while traveling to La Crosse as needed.

Ideal candidates are interested in Food Safety, Nutrition Education, and improving community food access programs, and will participate in regular check-ins with the Food Access Director.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
• Pass a mandatory background check.
• Interest in Food Safety, Nutrition Education, and community food access programs.

Responsibilities

• Complete Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) training, virtually and in person.
• Monitor Food Access Program sponsorship sites according to the DPI schedule.
• Complete monitoring follow-ups and address corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain documentation per DPI recordkeeping requirements.
• Participate in virtual one-on-one meetings with the La Crosse Area Family YMCA Food Access Director after visits.
• Participate in quarterly in-person check-ins with the Food Access Director.
• Travel to La Crosse, WI for quarterly meetings and between Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls as needed.
