Job summary

NPHire in Lutz, FL is seeking a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to staff two 12-hour shifts per week in a busy clinic. New grads with ER experience welcome; patient mix includes children and adults; duties cover wellness, sick visits, and chronic care, with RN and MAs supporting workflows.

This 1099 role does not include PTO; malpractice insurance is covered; there is a path to full-time for the right fit, and earnings are $50 to $85 per hour.

Qualifications

• FNP certification required.
• Minimum 2 years NP experience, or new grads with ER experience within the past year.
• Experience caring for pediatric patients.
• Basic GYN experience, including Pap tests.
• Available for two 12-hour shifts per week, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, including every other weekend.
• Calm and efficient when walk-ins surge on top of a full schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care for patients of all ages: wellness visits, chronic disease management, preventive care, and sick visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute conditions for walk-in patients, including UTIs.
• Perform Pap tests for patients with normal histories and refer concerning cases to the women's health practice next door.
• Review day's appointments, labs, and prescriptions at shift start in the EMR.
• Delegate routine lab result calls to MAs and contact patients about abnormal results.
• Collaborate with RN and MAs to keep patients moving and reduce wait times.
• Complete and sign charts by the end of your shift.
