Job summary

Cross Creek Nursery is seeking a Floral Support & Customer Care Representative to provide friendly, detail‑oriented service, assist with orders, and coordinate with our delivery team to ensure bouquets arrive on time and beautifully presented.

This in-person role requires availability Saturdays and extended hours during peak floral holidays; 2–3 days per week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, in a busy floral shop environment with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, or office administration preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, courteous, and professional demeanor. Must be available for extended hours during major floral holidays.
• Experience with FTD or floral POS systems is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers over the phone and assist with placing floral orders.
• Handle daily phone and email inquiries related to floral products, deliveries, and special requests.
• Communicate with delivery drivers to confirm order details and ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide support to other departments when needed by answering overflow calls.
• Prepare invoices, file paperwork, and maintain organized floral department records.
• Assist with reconciliation of floral statements and outgoing billing.
• Lend a hand during high-volume floral holidays, including extended shifts.
