Job summary

Haxtun Health is seeking a dedicated Part-time Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floor and carpet areas across Haxtun Hospital District facilities. The role involves using commercial equipment and established techniques to deliver high-quality floor-care services while minimizing disruption to patient care and operations.

The position requires the ability to follow instructions, operate floor-care machinery, and perform restorative work with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and safely perform routine and restorative floor-care techniques.
• Ability to safely operate, guide, and maintain control of commercial floor-care equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, equipment instructions, chemical labels, SDS, and procedures.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions and report them appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for routine and restorative floor and carpet care across Haxtun Hospital District facilities.
• Operates commercial floor-care equipment and uses approved chemicals and techniques.
• Works independently and with the team to complete scheduled and project-based floor maintenance with minimal disruption to care operations.
