Job summary

Haxtun Health is seeking a dedicated Part-time Floor Technician to join our team on day shift. The role focuses on routine and restorative floor and carpet care across Haxtun Hospital District facilities, using commercial equipment and approved products while keeping patient care disruption to a minimum.

Starting pay ranges from $17.15 to $22.30 per hour, depending on experience. This non-exempt, part-time position offers a supportive environment and opportunities to contribute to community

Qualifications

• Ability to learn and safely perform routine and restorative floor-care techniques.
• Ability to operate commercial floor-care equipment, including rotary stripping and buffing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, chemical labels, SDS, and established procedures.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions, equipment problems, and flooring concerns and report them appropriately.
• Ability to organize work and complete assigned projects with limited supervision after training.
• Ability to work effectively around patients, residents, visitors, employees, and clinical operations while minimizing disruption.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and restorative floor-care and carpet maintenance across Haxtun Health facilities.
