Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–6 months related experience and/or training.

• Ability to communicate clearly with nursing, administration, and physicians.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• All duties are applicable in all units throughout the hospital.
• Promotes the facility mission and values.
• Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors and surfaces.
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
• Uses appropriate cleaning chemicals and procedures per guidelines.
• Operates and maintains floor cleaning equipment safely.
• Observes safety precautions and infection control practices.
• Replenishes supplies and coordinates with supervisor.
