Ace Hardware in North Texas is hiring a part-time Sales Associate to provide friendly, product‑driven customer service. You will help customers, stock shelves, and support store operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and weekend/evening availability. Prior retail experience is a plus, and reliable teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and climb ladders.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork, accountability and service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive and friendly representation of Ace Hardware to every customer.
• Assist customers proactively in solving problems and offer personalized service.
• Greet customers warmly and thank them as they leave the store.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and store layout awareness.
• Handle customer inquiries and elevate issues to management as needed.
• Help receive, stock, and price merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and order across the sales floor, stock room, and outdoor areas.
• Assist with merchandise resets, signage updates, and special orders.
• Operate forklift with proper training to support stocking activities.
• Contribute to a safe, professional, and positive work environment.
