Job description

Vision Ace Hardware is seeking Floor Associates with a great attitude and helpful service.

Pay: $16.00/hr - $16.00/hr. Flexible schedule required.

Floor Associate Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product information and guide them through store selections.
• Maintain inventory by stocking warehouse, drop ship, and back stock.
• Organize merchandise on shelves and front displays as directed.
• Lift heavy cartons and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Operate scanner, POS keyboard, and cash register accurately.
• Stand for extended periods; bend, climb, twist routinely.

Customer Service Expectations

• Prioritize customer service at all times.
• Greet each customer with a smile and ask, "What can I help you find today?"
• Guide customers to all relevant products.
• Ensure customers have everything they need for their project.

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of hardware related products and home projects is a plus.
• 1-3 years of retail experience (preferred).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong physical abilities: use scanner/POS, read labels, stand long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
