Qualifications

• Board of Pharmacy State License required.
• This pharmacy position is a safety-sensitive position. Therefore, any person applying for this position must undergo and pass a drug test.
• Permanent residency in California is a condition of employment for this position.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers.
• Answering phones and operating the cash register in the Pharmacy.
• Operating the computer to input data, look up refills, and check retail prices of prescription drugs.
• Calling doctors' offices for authorization to refill prescriptions.
• Receiving orders from patients and typing pharmacy labels.
• Assisting the pharmacist with filling prescriptions and pulling prescription merchandise from shelves.
