Job summary

Ivywood Academy in Decatur, GA is seeking a Part Time After School Teacher to plan and present age-appropriate activities for elementary-age children in the afternoon or full-day during teacher workdays and holidays. During the morning, you will float in other younger age classrooms, assist with lunch breaks and activities as needed, and help maintain a safe, engaging learning environment.

You will build positive relationships with students and parents, communicate progress, and support health

Qualifications

• 1-3 experience in childcare, teaching, or related fields.
• High School or GED required.
• Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred; CDA/TCC and/or work experience considered.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Ability to build rapport with children.
• Positive and patient demeanour.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Part Time-After school Teacher

Range $ 13 - $16

We are seeking an After School Teacher to join our team. This individual will help plan and present age-appropriate activities for children who are coming from Elementary school in the afternoon or spending the full day with us during teacher workdays and holidays.

During the morning, this candidate will help-float in other younger age classrooms with lunch breaks and activities as needed.
