Job summary

Just for Kids Early Learning Centers is seeking a part-time Floater/Assistant Teacher for the afternoon shift from 2:00pm to 6:00pm in Clarksville, TN. You will supervise a group of children, maintain records, prepare lesson plans, and communicate daily with parents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise an identifiable group of children in classroom and playground.
• Submit paperwork to Director (lesson plans, accident reports, attendance, etc.).
• Maintain accurate and timely record keeping.
• Coordinate classroom activities and lesson planning.
• Communicate with parents via daily sheets, verbal updates, monthly newsletters, parent board or information board.
• Maintain an organized, clean, safe classroom.
• Keep birthday boards, parent/teacher boards, cubbies and parent resources up to date.
• Maintain development assessments and casual observations for each child.
• Support positive communication among center, staff, children and parents.
• Maintain training requirements for the position in coordination with administrative staff.
• Administer first aid for accidents.

Just for Kids Early Learning Centers offer a premier learning experience for children ages six weeks to twelve years old. We are committed to the family’s we serve and the children we care for.

We are currently seeking a part-time Floater/Assistant Teacher to work the afternoon shift from 2:00pm-6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for an identifiable group of children in a classroom setting and on the playground.
• Responsible for the submission of paperwork to Director as required (lesson plans, accident reports, attendance, etc.)
• Responsible for accurate and timely record keeping.
• Responsible for coordination of classroom activities and lesson planning.
