Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to float to hospital units in the Resource Pool at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Multiple shifts available with flexible coverage to support patient care needs.

The RN will assess and admit patients, monitor rounds, administer medications, and communicate with families while ensuring high-quality, compassionate care. Growth opportunities exist within leadership tracks and specialty areas.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with VA or multi-state license.
• 18 months of RN experience for Resource Pool.
• Med/Surg, IMCU or ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients.
• Rounding checks.
• Administering medications.
• Communicating with family and ensuring overall patient care.
• Demonstrating teamwork to provide high-quality care.
