Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for our Resource Pool/Float Team. This part-time 3pm-11pm role involves floating to units with acuity needs, primarily IMCU or Medical/Surgical, with training to move into critical care areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or MSN preferred.
• Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety.
