Job description

Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician

Available to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST

Location: Greater Portland Metro Area, covering St. Helens, Gresham, Oregon City, Salem, Hillsboro and Beaverton.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Assists the pharmacist to maintain pharmacy compliance with federal and state requirements
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Manages expense tracking
• Other duties as assigned

Pay and Incentives

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefit options include incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. The company complies with all applicable minimum wage laws.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the State of Oregon
• At least 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Ability to use own vehicle to travel to sites as needed
• Valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 3+ years of pharmacy experience
• Long‑term care pharmacy experience
• MAR experience
• Experience with bubble pack/compliance packaging
• Float Pharmacy Technician experience
• Retail Pharmacy Technician experience
