Position

Pharmacy Technician

Location: 115 W Bond St Astoria, OR 97103

Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm PST with lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm PST

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
• Receive, prepare and fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
• Order, receive and store incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
• Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records
• Work with the pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
• Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
• Prepare orders for delivery via mail
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon
• Access to reliable transportation and valid U.S. driver’s license

Preferred

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 1+ years of pharmacy technician experience
• Long‑term care pharmacy experience
• Retail pharmacy experience
• Inventory management experience

Salary

Hourly rate $16.00 to $28.85 based on full‑time employment
