Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer for a Distribution Center in Sparrows Point, MD. You will perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents across multiple sites.

This role uses our shift‑pickup platform to claim assignments based on availability, giving you a flexible schedule and hands‑on site experience. No prior security experience required, high school diploma or 5 years verifiable experience, background check and

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer‑owned vehicle.
• Background investigation and drug screen as per law; Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed in some states).
• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications per site Post Orders.
