Job summary

The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Part Time Fleet Specialist to ensure vehicles are rental ready and properly staged at the site. You will coordinate registrations, inventories, and asset tagging while handling emails and reports.

The role requires comfort working outdoors in varying weather, frequent use of handheld devices, and collaborating with the Pool Fleet Manager to resolve status issues and move cars to available status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in car rental preferred.
• Prior asset control experience preferred.
• Prior logistic or transportation experience preferred.
• Must be able to work with computers and tablets.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Must navigate GPS mapping applications and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities to make vehicles rental/sale ready (inspections, registrations).
• Review site variances to resolve cars coded incorrectly.
• Organize vehicle staging on lot for quick action based on status.
• Review non-rentable units and fleet levels with Pool Fleet Manager.
• Ensure vehicles are marked with Quadrant system and track aging.
• Inventory vehicles and monitor asset control points.
• Add new asset tags to incoming fleet and receive vehicles in EAM.
• Complete admin duties like data entry, emails and reports.
• Coordinate transportation and car haulers, including Non-Revenue moves.
