JRP Energy is seeking a hands-on, Part-Time Mechanical Technician to support maintenance of company vehicles, fueling equipment, and related systems in Ashland, VA. The role emphasizes troubleshooting across mechanical and electronic systems and involves diagnostics of pumps and Smart Tank monitoring equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment.
• Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on company vehicles, including gas and diesel trucks and fleet equipment.
• Perform routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and replacement of lights and components.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and determine when outside service is needed.
• Inspect and diagnose fuel tanks, pumps, and fueling equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Smart Tank monitoring systems and fuel diagnostic equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting electronic and technology systems used in company vehicles.
