Job summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is seeking a technician to repair and maintain fitness equipment for residential and commercial customers. You will diagnose issues, order parts, and perform installations with a focus on customer service and quality.

Work involves traveling to client sites in a branded vehicle, interacting professionally with customers, and using field service software to report work orders. A positive attitude and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of mechanical/electrical aptitude and experience working with hand tools required.
• Experience repairing fitness equipment is a plus but not necessary; training provided.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and clear, professional communication.
• Ability to use a phone/tablet for scheduling and job reports.
• Daily local travel required.
• A self-starter with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Applicants must pass a background check.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on fitness equipment at homes and commercial facilities.
• Identify replacement parts for the main office orders.
• Assemble/disassemble equipment and perform installations at commercial sites.
• Complete accurate customer work orders using Field Service Management software.
• Interact professionally with customers to maintain relationships and explain repairs.

Job Summary

Fitness Machine Technicians is looking for a technician to perform repair and preventive maintenance services on fitness equipment for residential and commercial customers. If you are a go-getter this is the job for you! Must be awesome at customer service and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on various pieces of fitness equipment at customer locations including homes and commercial facilities
• Identify replacement parts needed so the main office can order for the customer
• Assemble and disassemble equipment and perform equipment installations at commercial facilities
• Complete accurate and thorough customer work order reports using our Field Service Management software
• Professionally interact with customers to help maintain great client relations and explain repairs and equipment failures
• Drive from job to job in a branded vehicle. Keep the company vehicle clean and organized at all times
• Occasionally lift heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Experience repairing fitness equipment is a plus but not necessary. Additional training is provided as needed.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
