Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time, first shift assignments across our skilled nursing communities.

You’ll provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and regulatory compliance. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing (Iowa).
• CPR certification current.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Strong commitment to empathy, respect and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider and other team members to promote high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care to meet clinical, regulatory and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols at all times.
