Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct, compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting. Full-Time or Part-Time shifts available, 6PM-6AM, with opportunities to impact residents' health and well-being.

Requirements include an current Iowa RN license, CPR certification, knowledge of long-term care regulations, and a strong commitment to empathy and teamwork. Competitive wage with shift differentials and robust benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid Iowa RN license.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal/state long-term care regulations.
Demonstrated empathy, respect, patience and discretion.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and interdisciplinary team members.
Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
Document care to meet clinical, regulatory and facility standards.
Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols.
