Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC) invites adjunct instructors to join the Fire Science program and develop opportunities for students to thrive as scholars and community members. Courses may be taught in day, evening, or online formats, on a quarterly basis, with home internet access required to maintain contact with students.

Qualifications

• All faculty must meet state-adopted minimum qualifications or locally established equivalencies.
• Review minimum qualifications handbook from CCC Chancellor’s Office.
• Equivalency may be considered with conclusive evidence.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Fire Science courses as directed by the Dean of Workforce Development and Instruction.
• Engage in equity-focused, student-centered teaching practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines and campuses to support program goals.
• Contribute to a community-serving educational environment.
