Qualifications

• All faculty must meet state-adopted minimum qualifications or locally established equivalencies.
• Forestry requires: Any bachelor’s degree + two years of professional experience, OR any associate degree + six years of professional experience, or the equivalent.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in the Forestry discipline, including prep for in-class or online activities.
• Evaluate students’ work and provide feedback.
• Maintain accurate class records and submit attendance rosters and grades on time.
• Follow approved course outlines and college policies.
• Refer students to counseling and other student services as needed.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive learning environment and collaborate across campus.
