La Bonne étape, an upscale bistro in Baltimore, seeks a versatile Front of House professional capable of serving, supporting, hosting and bar duties with professionalism and style aligned to our standards.

You will communicate across teams, know the menu and wine list, and deliver memorable hospitality to guests while upholding Relais & Châteaux standards in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain professional service as directed by department head
• Excellent guest relations and ability to handle inquiries and complaints
• Solid understanding of health & safety practices and restaurant policies

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, and seat guests in a courteous, timely manner
• Provide explanations of dishes and wine selections on request
• Ensure service aligns with brand standards and restaurant style
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to manage orders and dietary needs
• Report guest feedback to management for service improvement
