Job summary

The Heathman Hotel Kirkland seeks an enthusiastic Server (Part-Time) to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will take orders, upsell offerings, and provide attentive service to guests in a boutique hotel setting.

Role involves operating the POS, coordinating with culinary staff, and maintaining a polished dining room. Prior server experience and knowledge of liquor laws are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous server experience in a similar restaurant environment.
• Ability to operate the computerized POS system.
• Knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations.
• State Food Handler's License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s).

Responsibilities

• Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to guests per standards.
• Enters orders into the POS and communicates special requests to the kitchen.
• Assembles appetizers, salads and soups with presentable plating.
• Ensures attractive presentation and correct serving temperatures.
• Maintains knowledge of menu changes and sold-out items.
• Processes guest payments using proper cash handling.
• Keeps dining and service areas clean and organized.
