Job summary

Good Shepherd School for Children is seeking a part-time Director of Finance (30 hours/week). You will manage day-to-day finance operations, including tuition, AP/AR, payroll, and HR issues, and support technology needs. You’ll work with the president and a small management team, and coordinate the annual audit and Form 990.

The role requires at least five years’ experience in a similar position, strong IT and QuickBooks skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and finance software (QuickBooks or similar).
• Ability to work with payroll providers and banking processes (ACH, etc.).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance operations including tuition, AP/AR, payroll, and HR issues.
• Prepare and execute annual financial audit and 990; conduct budget and forecasting.
• Collaborate with board of directors and external auditors.
• Support grant and fundraising activities as needed.
