Job summary

RTI International is seeking part-time Survey Administrators for a school-based computerized study. The in-school survey administrators will administer surveys and assessments to students in classroom settings and coordinate with schools for make-up dates. The National Youth Risk Behavior Study (YRBS) involves health-risk behaviors among U.S.

high school students. The role requires travel, data collection, and working closely with school staff.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Fluency in English reading, writing and speaking.
• Must have a valid US driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet, laptop and related equipment.
• Access to password protected WiFi for data transmission and administration.

Responsibilities

• Traveling frequently to selected locations to administer survey or assessments to study participants.
• Making in-person contact with selected respondents to discuss the study and obtain participation.
• Prompting school staff by email and phone for missing data collection information.
• Hosting meetings with school staff to assess preparedness of scheduled survey dates.
• Communicating with school staff to track parental consent returns and student eligibility.
