AnnieMac Home Mortgage in Providence, RI is seeking a part-time Loan Sales Specialist to generate mortgage business with real estate professionals while working less than 20 hours per week.

You will build relationships with realtors, pre-qualify applicants, present loan options, and guide borrowers through the application and disclosures.

Travel is required about 80% of the time; this role is commission-based with potential for steady loan volume from outside referrals.

Qualifications

• Requires appropriate state license or certificate (varies by state).
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurers.
• Familiar with credit underwriting and property eligibility for FNMA/FHLMC/FHA/VA and investors.
• Knowledge of local, state and national laws (e.g. TILA, RESPA, energy audits).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to analyze financial information.
• Sales-oriented self-starter who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sell mortgage loans to customers away from AnnieMac Home Mortgage’s offices; outside sales focus.
• Develop relationships with realtors and other professionals to generate referrals.
• Attend closings, open houses, and lead-generating events.
• Take borrower information and complete loan applications; provide disclosures.
• Counsel borrowers on loan products and financing options; explain closing costs and payments.
• Maintain contact with borrowers and partners from application to closing.
