Job summary

RTI International seeks part-time Field Interviewers to work on the NSDUH, a long‑running government‑sponsored study on health behaviors in the United States. You will reach out to households, conduct interviews, and emphasize participation's importance, with a flexible schedule and evenings/weekends.

The role requires self‑motivation, strong communication, English fluency, and the ability to work remotely in the field while traveling to locations.

Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication through speech and listening.
• Fluency in English reading, writing, and speaking.
• Available for training and data collection period.
• Valid US driver's license and reliable personal auto for business use.
• Comfortable using RTI issued tablet and equipment.
• Ability to keep project information confidential.
• Willingness to work in various weather and after dark.

Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to selected locations to recruit study participants.
• Contact households, discuss the study, and obtain participation.
• Adhere to a schedule set by the Field Supervisor.
• Administer computer‑assisted interviewing and collect confidential data.
• Submit timely Time & Expense reports and attend virtual meetings.
