Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch/Logistics Specialist to assist with dispatch planning, ensuring service, safety, and cost goals are met, and coordinating with teams to optimize staffing and equipment.

You will oversee load planning, monitor movements, and develop efficient schedules in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, safety audits, and driver performance feedback, with opportunities for professional development and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or international equivalent – preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Management experience – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews dispatch activity and planning to meet service, safety and cost goals.
• Oversees load and tractor planning and assignments.
• Monitors load movements and equipment condition.
• Analyzes dispatch and service reports and schedules.
• Creates efficient dispatch plans and verifies service levels.
• Oversees yard operations, coordinating drivers with load volume.
• Ensures trailer locations and inventory are accurate.
