JBS Live Pork in Hedrick, IA is seeking a part-time Feed QA Lab Tech to support the nutrition team. You will assist the full-time lab staff with receiving, testing, and data entry for all feed samples, ensuring quick turnaround and accurate results used to drive daily nutrition decisions.

Qualifications

Must be able to read/write English and authorized to work in the U.S.
High School Diploma or equivalent and authorized to work in the U.S.
Basic knowledge of math
Knowledge of MS Office products including MS Excel
Ability to follow written procedures and established testing methods
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Conduct a range of tests (particle size, pellet durability, mycotoxin, and NIR) on feed and ingredient samples submitted to the lab
Maintain accurate and error free data entry as the information generated directly influences real time nutrition decisions
Assist full-time lab staff in conducting feed and ingredient analysis, ensuring a seamless workflow and timely data analysis and entry
Maintain a clean and organized lab that meets or exceeds JBS Live Pork's standards
