Job summary

EverGRO in Madison, VA is seeking a Farm Store Associate with a warehouse focus. You will provide friendly, efficient service, handle checkout with POS equipment, and keep the showroom neat while supporting store events and displays.

This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, cross-training in warehouse tasks, and opportunities to learn propane filling and inventory responsibilities. Candidates should be 18+, with retail experience preferred, and a commitment to safe, customer-focused

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience.
• At least 18 years of age and willingness to work Mon-Fri 8am-6pm and Sat 8am-3pm.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service and operating POS equipment preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain via on-the-job training.
• Able and willing to learn to fill propane tanks.
• Strong relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to cross-train to support warehouse duties and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with friendly & efficient service.
• Process checkout, exchanges and returns using POS equipment.
• Help maintain the professional and clean appearance of the store showroom.
• Promote and set-up for store events, displays and promotions.
• Cross-train to support warehouse responsibilities and deliveries.
• Fill propane cylinders and stock merchandise.
• Work 15-20+ hours per week, depending on store needs.
