Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative is hiring a part-time Farm Store Associate in Upperville to assist customers, handle checkout, and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours. The role includes stocking shelves, supporting inventory, loading deliveries, and filling propane cylinders with a focus on safety and service.

Preferred candidates will have an interest in agriculture, be willing to operate a forklift, and be available 3–4 days per week, including Saturdays on rotation.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; agriculture interests (horses, cattle, gardening, plants, small animals) are a plus
• Willing and able to operate a forklift, lift product, and work indoors and outdoors
• Valid Driver’s License
• Availability to work 3–4 days/week during store hours; preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product questions and solutions
• Run the register and handle checkout, exchanges, and returns
• Stock shelves, replenish merchandise, and support inventory counts
• Load/unload deliveries and customer purchases; operate a forklift as needed
• Fill propane cylinders
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe store/warehouse
