Job summary

Bradford YMCA is seeking a dynamic Part-Time employee to join the Children, Young People and Families team to deliver whole family work and one2one work with children, young people and parents in settings including family homes, schools, youth and community settings.

The role focuses on outcomes such as good early years development, improved mental and physical health, safety from abuse, and financial stability.

Qualifications

• Experience of working to holistically address identified needs of children/young people aged 0-19 in paid or voluntary capacity.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver whole family work and one-to-one work with children, young people and parents in family homes, schools, youth and community settings.
• Support families to achieve outcomes such as good early years development, improved health, and safer households.
• Promote recovery and reduce harm from substance use and improve family relationships.
• Support crime prevention and safeguarding, including safety from abuse and exploitation.
• Assist with financial stability and travel where required.
