Job summary

The Brien Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Family Supportive Living Case Worker in Pittsfield, MA.

You will work Thursday and Friday 2 PM–6 PM and Saturday and Sunday 8 AM–12 Noon, supporting families to build independence and skills within the Residential Program. You will provide direct case management, develop goals with timelines, coordinate with outside agencies, document interactions daily, and participate in supervision with the Program

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree or human services certification preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Effective communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborates with families to set short- and long-term goals with timelines.
Participates in meetings and service coordination with outside agencies.
Develops relationships with medical practitioners and community supports.
Supports clients in building a long-term support network.
Maintains daily documentation of resident interactions and case management.
Develops and facilitates groups to meet residents' needs.
Participates in weekly supervision with the Program Manager.
