Job summary

Clinical and Support Options, Inc. is seeking a Case Manager/Family Support Worker in Pittsfield to join our Family Support Services team.

The role focuses on community-based care, crisis stabilization, and ongoing case management to strengthen families and youth systems. You will provide skills training, assist with daily living, documentation of child growth, and connect families with needed services, while advocating for the family and building natural supports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a mental health field.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training and assistance in daily living activities and parent skills; act as a role model for interpersonal relationships.
• Help parents meet children’s daily needs; observe and document child growth and development.
• Assist with family advocacy needs; facilitate mediation as appropriate.
• Provide counseling and intensive support to consumers during psychiatric crises or transitions.
• Assist consumers with identifying appropriate mental health and medical services and accessing services of choice.
• Help develop and maintain a natural support network of family and friends.
• Provide transportation for consumers as appropriate, following program guidelines.
• Maintain contacts with family members, natural helping networks, outpatient therapists, and others to support consumers.
