Job summary

Mankato Clinic seeks a part-time Medical Assistant or LPN to support family practice. You will greet and educate patients, take vital signs, and assist physicians with visits, exams, and procedures in a welcoming clinic setting.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation in the EHR, administering medications when ordered, and contributing to a smooth daily operation while upholding compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license or MA program diploma, or MA certification.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within 90 days.
• Ability to use computer for daily work and documentation.
• Patient-centered approach with teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers by maintaining an efficient daily operation and schedule.
• Perform core nursing functions as needed for the department.
• Document patient data in the EHR accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and/or immunizations per orders and educate patients.
• Greet, room, and educate patients and support exams and procedures.
