Part‑Time Faculty – Theatre Arts (Interest Pool)

Assignment Scope

• May be considered for substitute assignments as well as full‑term class assignments during the Academic Year.

Qualifications

• Master of Arts or Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts.
• OR Demonstrated competence in the specific subject area (e.g., Makeup, Voice and Diction, Costuming) with a combination of professional training and/or experience totaling five years or more.

Credential Requirements

• Official transcripts required within two weeks of offer date for required degrees.
• Transcripts for foreign credentials evaluated by agencies with good standing with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.

Compensation & Benefits

• Typically starts at Step 1 of the current salary schedule; hourly rates determined by type of course (Lecture, Lab, Lecture/Lab).
• Eligible for Oregon Sick Leave and retirement savings plans as part of PCC benefits.
