PCC Portland Community College is seeking applications for Part-Time Faculty assignments in the Developmental Education program. This role involves teaching candidates who are struggling academically and includes responsibilities such as full-term and substitute assignments.
The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s or Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, with experience in teaching reading, writing, or math.
Hourly rates will be determined by the course type taught, and eligible faculty may access certain PCC benefits.
Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part‑Time Faculty assignments in the Developmental Education program. This is a Part‑Time Faculty Interest Pool. The department will review applications as needs arise for new part‑time faculty in this area, including substitute and full‑term class assignments.
New Part‑Time Faculty will generally start at Step 1 of the current salary schedule. Hourly rates are determined based upon the type of course taught (Lecture, Lab, or Lecture/Lab).
